Before going on summer holidays our Sangha held a last forest meditation session 🌳🌲🌳🥮
On a hot day like this it was lovely to be cooled down by the freshness of the Mamer creek, the lush forest and a foot bath. It’s incredible how much you can discover by barely slowing down and noticing what’s going on around you! E.g. nettles popping out millions of pollen seeds, tiny insects skating on the surface of the water, branches shooting out of a nearly dead trunk up towards the sky… We digested all the sense impressions over a piece of banana bread, peach pie and a glass of homemade iced tea.
Then we wished each other a lovely summer. We’re already looking forward to practicing together again in September!
